Dear Heavenly Father, as we commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans on Juneteenth, we acknowledge the painful history of slavery and racism that has divided our nation. We pray that you would guide us towards a deeper understanding of your love and your heart for justice, and that you would empower us to be agents of healing and restoration in our communities. May its teachings on love, forgiveness, and redemption inspire us to create spaces where everyone feels welcome and valued, and where your presence is palpable.
