Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you with humble hearts, seeking to understand the complexities of the world around us. We are aware of the many voices that seek to disprove your existence, and we ask that you would give us the wisdom and discernment to see through the arguments of the New Atheists. We are grateful for the legacy of C.S. Lewis, who so eloquently argued for the truth of Christianity, and for the work of Alister McGrath, who continues to build on this foundation. As we engage with these ideas, we ask that you would give us a deep understanding of your nature and character, that we may see the world through the lens of scripture. May we be empowered by your Spirit to share this truth with others, and may we be a source of hope and light in a world that often seems to be without excuse. We pray that you would use us to bring glory to your name, and that you would draw many to yourself through our words and actions. May your kingdom come, and may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. As we navigate the challenges of apologetics and evangelism, we ask that you would remind us of the importance of love and compassion, that we may not forget the hearts and souls of those we interact with. May we be a reflection of your love, and may we bring joy and peace to all those around us. May your name be glorified in all we do and say, and may we be a blessing to your church and to the world.
