AI: Friend or Foe? (with Michael Graham)

Scripture Focus

"For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-discipline."

— 2 Timothy 1:7

A Deeper Prayer

Dear Lord, we come before you with humility and a deep sense of responsibility, as we consider the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence. We recognize that AI has the potential to bring about immense benefits, from improving healthcare and education to enhancing our daily lives in countless ways. However, we also acknowledge the potential risks and challenges associated with AI, including the possibility of job displacement, increased inequality, and unintended consequences that could harm humanity. As we move forward in this uncharted territory, we ask that you grant us the wisdom to discern the potential benefits and risks of AI, and that you guide us in our decision-making, that we may use this technology in a way that aligns with your will and promotes the greater good. May our hearts remain pure and our intentions just, as we strive to harness AI for the benefit of all humanity. May we be mindful of the potential impact of AI on the most vulnerable members of our society, and may we work tirelessly to ensure that its benefits are equitably distributed. As we navigate the complexities of AI, may we remain grounded in your love and wisdom, and may our actions be guided by a deep sense of compassion, empathy, and responsibility. May your will be done in all that we do, and may we emerge from this journey with a deeper understanding of your plan and purpose for humanity.

A Short Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father, as we navigate the complexities of AI, grant us wisdom to discern its potential benefits and risks, and may we use this technology for the greater good, guided by your love and wisdom. May our hearts remain pure and our intentions just, as we strive to harness AI for the benefit of all humanity. May your will be done in all that we do."
