A Prayer for Trusting God's Plan as a Single Christian in Their 30s

Dear Heavenly Father, as we stand at the crossroads of our thirties, we're often met with uncertainty and doubt about Your plan for our lives. The world around us screams of timelines, milestones, and societal expectations. But we know, Lord, that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). You're the God of eternity, working all things for our good, even in the midst of unknowns and uncharted territories. As single Christians, we're often left wondering if we're missing out or if You're working a unique plan just for us.

We're reminded that Your plan for us is one of love, redemption, and purpose. You've called us to trust in You, to rest in Your sovereignty, and to find our identity in Christ alone. Yet, the enemy whispers lies of inadequacy, of being unworthy, and of being left behind. But we know, Lord, that these are mere whispers, for Your Word says we are beloved, chosen, and holy (1 Peter 2:9).

So we come to You today, dear Father, with open hearts and vulnerable spirits. We surrender our doubts, our fears, and our uncertainties to You. We ask that You would fill us with Your peace, Your presence, and Your perspective. Help us to see Your plan, not through the lens of our own limitations, but through the lens of Your infinite wisdom and goodness.
