A Prayer for Sustainable Transportation and Climate Action

<p>Dear God, we confess that our addiction to fossil fuels and our neglect of the environment have led to devastating consequences, including rising temperatures, sea-level rise, and extreme weather events. We acknowledge our complicity in these issues and our need for your forgiveness and restoration.</p><p>As we seek to transition to sustainable transportation and reduce our carbon footprint, we pray that you would guide us in our choices and actions. Give us the wisdom to invest in renewable energy sources, to promote public transportation, and to support policies that prioritize the well-being of our planet.</p><p>May our pursuit of sustainable transportation and climate action be motivated by a deep love for you and a desire to care for your creation. May we recognize that our actions have consequences and that our choices can either bring life or death to those around us (Proverbs 11:30).</p><p>We pray that you would raise up leaders and innovators who will work tirelessly to address the climate crisis and promote sustainable transportation. Give them the courage to speak truth to power and to challenge the status quo. And give us, your people, the courage to support and amplify their efforts.</p>
