If I pray for success, does it mean God is doing it for me rather than me earning it?+
It's not laziness to seek God's guidance in our endeavors. As Psalm 119:105 says, 'Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.' Seeking wisdom and strength doesn't replace our effort, but rather equips us to succeed.
What if I fail or do poorly on an exam, even after praying for success?+
Even Jesus failed in the temple at age 12 (Luke 2:41-52). Failure doesn't mean God isn't listening. As Romans 8:28 says, God can 'conform us to the image of his Son,' even in adversity, shaping us into better individuals because of it.
Does the Bible say that prayer guarantees a specific outcome?+
While prayer can bring great benefit, it often isn't a direct guarantee of specific results. Instead, it's an invitation to walk in faith and obedience, trusting God for the best outcome. As Proverbs 3:5-6 says, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to him.'
