Prayer for peace and comfort for the grieving

Father, in the midst of grief and pain, we come to You as our shelter and refuge. Wrap Your loving arms around us, and envelop us in Your peace. Help us trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, even when we don't understand. Remind us that You are close to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). As we walk through this valley of shadows, be our Light and our Guide. Give us the strength to face each new day, and the courage to keep moving forward, even in the midst of uncertainty. In Jesus' name, we pray.
