"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Waiting on the Lord doesn't mean sitting idly by; it means actively placing our hope and trust in Him rather than in our own abilities. When we rely on our own strength, we quickly burn out. But when we tap into God's infinite power, He provides a supernatural endurance that allows us to rise above our circumstances, much like an eagle soaring above a storm.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

The peace that Jesus offers is fundamentally different from what the world offers. The world's peace depends on circumstances—having enough money, good health, or a lack of conflict. But the peace of Christ is internal and eternal. It stands firm even in the middle of a storm, because it is rooted in the unchanging character of God.
